Long before I was designing weddings, I was designing landscapes. I’ve always had a deep love for the natural world—how flowers, foliage, and texture work together to create a sense of place and emotion. That love led me to Auburn University, where I earned my degree in Horticulture. I never imagined then that it would one day become the foundation for creating wedding days full of layered beauty, movement, and meaning.
Tea Olive grew from that intersection—where thoughtful design meets Southern hospitality. What began with floral design has grown into a full-service wedding styling and planning studio, where every detail, from the charger to the chandelier, helps tell a couple’s story.
I bring a planner’s brain and a designer’s eye to everything I do. That means I love a well-built timeline just as much as I love choosing the right shade of linen. I thrive on logistics, quiet behind-the-scenes orchestration, and making decisions that help couples (and their moms!) relax and actually enjoy the day.
When I’m not designing weddings, you’ll usually find me in the garden or the kitchen—two of my favorite creative outlets. Our herb garden is one of my happiest places, and I love dreaming up new recipes from whatever’s in season. Jeffrey and I both love to cook, and we regularly (and lovingly) fight over who gets the kitchen first. We also love to travel, exploring new places, come home to our two pups, Francine and Eloise, who add just the right amount of personality and chaos to the mix.
