.01 McInnish - Brunner Wedding | Garden Glam | November
Rehearsal Dinner
The Friday evening rehearsal dinner welcomed guests with warmth, intention, and timeless Southern charm. Designed to feel both masculine and elegant, the event featured rich velvet green linens and towering urns overflowing with fresh greenery. The look was refined, but never fussy—layered with textural elements that felt grounded and natural. Seasonal pears tucked into the florals and tablescapes added a thoughtful touch that tied in beautifully with the green palette, enhancing the organic, late-fall feel. Candlelight flickered across the tables, and the entire space radiated a sense of understated sophistication—an inviting and well-styled beginning to an unforgettable weekend.

Wedding Day
The Wedding was a timeless celebration held on a crisp November weekend. The couple exchanged vows in a traditional church ceremony surrounded by friends and family, followed by an unforgettable backyard reception at a private residence that was transformed into an elegant and immersive experience.
The bride’s vision of classic Southern charm came to life through thoughtful design touches—blue and white accents, refined seating, and lush floral installations. The entire backyard was utilized to its fullest, with two expansive tents that each housed full-service bars, allowing guests to comfortably sip and mingle across multiple curated spaces.
A highlight of the evening was the main bar—custom built on-site the day of the wedding—framed by a dramatic greenery arbor and illuminated with three elegant chandeliers. Guests gathered around the poolside lounge outfitted with tufted ivory seating, ginger jars brimming with florals, and glowing string lights. The menu elevated the guest experience even further with an oyster station where oysters were grilled fresh on-site, adding a touch of coastal indulgence to the elegant affair.
From ceremony to reception, the entire weekend felt like a seamless blend of hospitality and high design, making this wedding an unforgettable celebration.

.02 Williard - McAllister Wedding | Southern Soiree | June
A celebration full of color, charm, and meaning, this June wedding took place on the bride’s grandparents’ private estate in front of a classic Southern antebellum home. Framed by a lush floral arch overflowing with blooms in every hue, the ceremony felt both timeless and intimate.
The bride carried a vibrant bouquet of coral peonies, ranunculus, and garden roses—echoed throughout the day in towering centerpieces, overflowing urns, and cascading arrangements under the reception tent. Custom elements made the event feel personal and unforgettable, including a bourbon bar featuring branded orange peel garnishes with the couple’s initials.
Soft lounge furniture under the tent created an elegant atmosphere for guests to enjoy cocktails and conversation. Delicate touches—like fruit-garnished champagne flutes, pale blush pillows, and floral-patterned lounge accents—added a playful, refined style.
A true highlight was the floral-forward design, blending bright summer colors and garden-style arrangements in a joyful and elegant display. It was a Southern wedding bursting with life, love, and color.

.03 Rhodes - Norton Wedding | Southern Traditional | May
Set against the peaceful backdrop of a family estate in Alabama, the Rhodes Wedding was a joyful celebration of tradition, color, and connection. Hosted under a sweeping sailcloth tent, this Southern wedding blended timeless style with fresh, vibrant details — a reflection of the couple's personality and the warmth of the family behind it.
Having had the honor of designing weddings for all three siblings in this family, this day was especially meaningful for Tea Olive Designs. Every detail was crafted with intention, from the brightly colored peony-filled florals to the custom-selected printed linens, soft seating areas, and candlelit tablescapes. Shades of coral, blush, butter yellow, sky blue, and spring green created a cheerful palette that carried from the ceremony aisle to the towering reception arrangements.
Guests gathered under twinkling lights, vintage inspired chandeliers, and surrounded by lush floral installations, romantic garden-style centerpieces, and thoughtful accents that brought the couple’s vision to life. From the flower-filled ceremony arch to the elegant cake display, each element helped tell a story rooted in Southern charm, family legacy, and joyful celebration.

Our family could not have asked for a more gorgeous and memorable day, thanks to the hard work and planning by both of you. It was beyond my imagination! .04 Wood - Turner Wedding | Victorian Garden | November
A romantic November wedding set beneath a sailcloth tent at a private residence in the heart of Alabama, the Wood wedding was a modern take on a Victorian garden party. The color palette featured soft powder blue, sage green, and gentle pops of lavender, creating a refreshing and elegant atmosphere that mirrored the season’s quiet beauty.
Stone-inspired décor added a classical twist, from statuary busts nestled in florals to architectural accents spread throughout the reception space. The bride came to Tea Olive Designs with a clear vision and a love of charming details, and trusted us to translate that into a cohesive floral and design plan.
Tables were draped in pale blue printed linens and adorned with wild, naturalistic centerpieces featuring stock, lisianthus, delphinium, and heirloom roses in soft pastel tones. Lounge areas and bars were thoughtfully styled to echo an English garden in bloom—lush, curated, and inviting.
This wedding was a dream collaboration and a beautiful example of what happens when thoughtful design meets creative freedom.
